Ms. Tanzia Amreen

Ms. Tanzia Amreen joined Renaissance during the 2017-2018 academic year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Minnesota. She completed her teaching certificate in 4th -8th Language Arts from the University of TX, Dallas. Ms. Amreen was a distinguished student who was on the Dean’s List through her undergraduate years. She has experience teaching Language Arts and social studies in other Islamic Schools in Dallas. She also held the position of a Curriculum Coordinator at a weekend school in TX. Ms. Amreen volunteered as a tutor at a public middle school for a few months. Her relevant experience, training, and certification, as well as familiarity with Islamic School Culture, are sure to be an asset to Renaissance. Ms. Amreen’s students have always achieved jaw-dropping results in the STAAR test for two consecutive years with most of her students earning a mastery level.
